As per the recent guidelines issued by Government of India, it is now mandatory to link all the mutual fund investments with Aadhaar by 31st December, 2017.

The process for linking of Aadhaar with Mutual Funds is simple. You need to sign the forms issued by the Registrar & Transfer Agents (CAMS, Karvy, Franklin & Sundaram). The signed forms along with self attested copy of Aadhaar Card needs to be submitted with the R&T Agents.

Also, there is an option to do Aadhaar linkage with Mutual Funds digitally by going to the following websites of Registrar & Transfer Agents:

1) CAMS – https://www.camsonline.com/InvestorServices/COL_Aadhar.aspx

2) Karvy – https://www.karvymfs.com/karvy/Aadhaarlinking.aspx

3)Franklin https://accounts.franklintempletonindia.com/guest/#/customerservices/updateaadhaar/accountdetails

4) Sundaram – https://www.sundarambnpparibasfs.in/web/service/aadhaar

Aadhar updation in Mutual Fund is mandatory for Resident Individuals but its not required for Non Resident Indians (NRI) and Non Individuals.
